OK. So the plan was to pick up the Airstream, take it to Evanston overnight, load up and begin my travels. But….. there are winter storm warnings for Chicago. Friday after midnight snow could accumulate at 1-2 inches an hour, up to 9 inches. I new I could get stuck for days and no way could I park in Evanston with its goofy snow rules. So with the help of my brother we improvised. Stopped by Evanston, literally threw everything in the trailer, we parted ways and I finally hit the road at 9:00 PM. I had a white knuckle escape. 4 hours later I was out of the snow and into rain. I rested and made it to Nashville Saturday afternoon where it was 60 degrees and sunny.
