On our way. Left Evanston on May 1st. Picked up the Airstream at Leslie’s family’s place in Clarksville and are on the road.
2016 Map
Here we go beginning in Nashville at the end of April and returning October 1. 15,000 miles on the Touareg probably over 10,000 on the Airstream.
2015 Map
2015 trip began with driving from Nashville to Benson, AZ where the Airstream was stored. We arrived in Benson on April 30th.
2014 Map
2014 was my first year of Airstream travel. My trip began January 31st when I picked up my new 2014, 20ft Flying Cloud at the dealer in Milwaukee. I traveled about seven months. I put over 9,000 miles on the Airstream and 25,000 on the Touareg. I left the trailer in Southern Arizona at the end of October. My plan is to start from there in the Spring of 2015. Not shown on the map were my trips home to the Chicago area and my ski trip to Jackson, WY (drove round trip from Tucson to Jackson).
