As we all know, the world has changed. For us, this includes a move West to the Land of Enchantment. Now we live where we used to travel to. Hmm
The second bigger change, for RV traveling, is “everything has changed”. In my opinion, the days of free wheeling travel are over. The explosion of Van Life (by choice or economics), RV rentals, Glamping, Overlanding, remote work, remote schooling, Boomer retirement, and just plain exploring the USA has made it hard.
That said, we finally got our vaccinated selves on the road and took a three week trip.
The main difference was we had to plan. Reservations are required if you go to, or near, a National Park. For us, that meant we had to wait until late August to strike out. Was it worth it, Yes. Did we have a good time, Yes. Will we continue to do this, Yes. Do i recommend it, No, you all stay home.😎
